The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed with advanced technology to ensure high quality and low headroom, providing full-featured reliability in both routine and severe working environments. The kit includes features such as "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized. Additionally, it features a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a five-pocket load sheave that helps reduce vibration and extend chain life. The hoists are equipped with a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340 and are built to be environmentally friendly, meeting RoHS requirements while exceeding the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
