The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature a push/pull trolley design that incorporates advanced technology for high quality and reliable performance in various working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, and a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The hoists also come equipped with a count hour meter to track the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a five-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, and a fan-cooled motor for cooler operation. Additional attributes include low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, meet RoHS environmental standards, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate that verifies factory load testing at 125% of the rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
