The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporate a motorized trolley and are designed with advanced technology to deliver high quality, low headroom, and full-featured functionality for reliable performance in various working environments. The hoists feature "The Guardian," a smart brake technology with a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, along with grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that tracks lowering starts and hoist on time, and a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life. Additional features include a fan-cooled motor that contributes to a cooler operating temperature, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, compliant with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Trolley features consist of a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers that facilitate smoother trolley motion and reduce beam wear. Each hoist includes a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
