The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates advanced technology and features a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists designed for reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, and a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain. Additional attributes consist of a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a 5-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, and a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler motor and brake operation. The hoists are equipped with low-profile upper and lower limit switches as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. Furthermore, they are UL listed to UL 1340, built to comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
