The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates a push/pull trolley and is designed with the latest technology to deliver high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists suitable for both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is powered, a Grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operating time, a five-pocket load sheave that minimizes vibration and enhances chain longevity, and a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler motor and brake operation. Additionally, the hoists feature low-profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. All units are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS environmental standards, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming factory load testing at 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
