The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with the latest technology, featuring a push/pull trolley for enhanced performance. These high-quality, low headroom hoists are designed for reliable daily use in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, as well as a fan-cooled motor that ensures cooler operation of both motor and brake. Additionally, low profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords, enhance usability. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS environmental standards, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate confirming factory load testing to 125% of rated capacity in compliance with ASME B30.16.
