The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality for recording and displaying the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, it features a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built in an environmentally friendly manner to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. All hoists come with a test certificate verifying that they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
