The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed using advanced technology and feature a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. The hoist includes several notable features such as "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, and a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain. It also has a counting hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a five-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, and a fan-cooled motor that contributes to a cooler operating temperature for both the motor and brake. Low profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords, further enhance functionality. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to environmentally friendly standards meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features an exceptionally durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother trolley motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate that verifies it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
