The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley equipped with an under the cover variable frequency drive, allowing for exceptional load control and field-adjustable speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that provides speed adjustability as well as integral hour counting functionality to track lowering starts and hoist operating time. The design incorporates a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, a fan-cooled motor that ensures cooler operation for the motor and brake, and low-profile upper and lower limit switches along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, are environmentally friendly in compliance with ROHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
