The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley equipped with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and two field adjustable speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology consisting of a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional attributes include a five pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor design, low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly as they meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
