The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive that enables exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality to track and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and enhance chain longevity, a cooler motor and brake enabled by a fan cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS environmental standards, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, all hoists come with a test certificate confirming that they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
