The Nerm Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a motorized trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive hoist, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a variable frequency drive for speed adjustability, and integral hour counting functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, it offers a 5 pocket load sheave for reduced vibration and extended chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled design, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoist and trolley are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley includes an exceptionally durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers to enhance trolley motion and minimize beam wear. All hoists come with a test certificate verifying that they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
