The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are equipped with advanced technology and a motorized trolley, delivering high-quality performance in various working conditions. Each hoist features "The Guardian," a smart brake technology utilizing a current driven electromagnetic brake that engages only when the motor is energized. The hoist is constructed with grade 80 nickel plated load chain and includes a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. It has a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and prolong chain life, while a fan-cooled motor contributes to cooler motor and brake operation. Additional features include low profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, constructed to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley is designed with a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers to enhance motion and minimize beam wear. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
