The NERM Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature a motorized trolley with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive hoist, delivering exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is powered, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive for speed adjustability along with integral hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the hoist includes a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoist and trolley are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly while meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features a highly durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother trolley motion and reduced beam wear. All hoists come with test certificates confirming they have been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
