The Nerm Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a motorized trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive hoist, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key attributes include "The Guardian," smart brake technology utilizing a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality for recording and displaying the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, along with a fan-cooled motor that results in a cooler motor and brake, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoist and trolley are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features include a robust pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers that enhance trolley motion and reduce beam wear.
