The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature a push/pull trolley and are designed utilizing the latest technology to deliver high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists suitable for both routine tasks and severe working environments. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which comprises a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The hoists include a five-pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor for a cooler operating environment, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
