The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and a motorized trolley, offering high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys designed for dependable performance in both routine and challenging environments. The hoist features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operating time, a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled design, and low-profile upper and lower limit switches along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly by meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Trolley features include a robust and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers to enhance trolley motion and reduce beam wear. Additionally, all hoists come with a test certificate confirming that they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
