The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates advanced technology and features a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and demanding environments. The hoist includes "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which features a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized. It is equipped with grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, and a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler motor and brake performance. Additionally, the hoist has low profile upper and lower limit switches along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340 and are environmentally friendly, meeting RoHS requirements while exceeding the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for enhanced motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
