The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that enhances load control and allows for field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key attributes of this series include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, which incorporates a current driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, along with a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The variable frequency drive facilitates speed adjustability and comes with integral hour count functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the hoists are equipped with a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, and feature a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor. Other specifications include low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, are built in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
