The NerP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with the latest technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and challenging working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, along with a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain. The hoists come equipped with a count hour meter that tracks and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, and a cooler motor and brake enabled by the fan-cooled motor. Additional specifications include low-profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS environmental standards, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in compliance with ASME B30.16.
