The NERP Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology that utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability as well as integral hour count functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to a fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built environmentally friendly to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, all hoists come with a test certificate verifying that the hoist has been factory load tested to 125% of the rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
