The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates advanced technology and features a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom hoists and trolleys suitable for both routine tasks and harsh environments. The hoists are equipped with "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized. Other key features include grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that tracks lowering starts and hoist on time, a 5 pocket load sheave designed to minimize vibration and extend chain life, and improved motor and brake cooling due to the fan-cooled motor. Additionally, the hoists feature low profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, constructed to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers that enhance trolley motion and reduce beam wear. All hoists come with test certificates confirming they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
