The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington includes a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, offering exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features encompass "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake that engages only when the motor is energized; grade 80 nickel-plated load chain for enhanced durability; and variable frequency drive enabling speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the design features a 5-pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, and low-profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built sustainably to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
