The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian," smart brake technology—a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, as well as a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability and integrates hour counting functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor, and low profile upper and lower limit switches. The hoists come with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly by meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. All hoists are accompanied by a test certificate verifying that they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
