The Nerp Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which incorporates a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized. The hoist is equipped with a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability, and integrated hour counting functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional specifications include a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with ROHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
