The NERP Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington includes a push/pull trolley equipped with an under the cover variable frequency drive, offering exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features of these hoists consist of "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which is a current-driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized. Additionally, the hoists feature a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a variable frequency drive for speed adjustability, and integral hour counting functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Other attributes include a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and prolong chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled design, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, are environmentally friendly as they meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
