The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features advanced technology and a motorized trolley, ensuring high quality and low headroom in a full-featured design suitable for both routine and severe working environments. Key hoist attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged when the motor is not energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that tracks lowering starts and operational time. The design includes a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and enhance chain longevity, a fan-cooled motor for improved cooling of the motor and brake, and low-profile upper and lower limit switches alongside plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, compliant with RoHS standards, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating.
