The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington includes an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features encompass "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, and a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain. The variable frequency drive allows for speed adjustability and integral count hour functionality, which records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5-pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, and low-profile upper and lower limit switches. Additionally, the kit includes plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
