The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features advanced technology designed for high quality and low headroom performance, suitable for both routine situations and severe working environments. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The hoists are equipped with a 5-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, along with a fan-cooled motor that contributes to a cooler motor and brake performance. Additional features include low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with test certificates verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
