The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature a push/pull trolley with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, providing excellent load control and field-adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized. The hoists come equipped with grade 80 nickel-plated load chains, variable frequency drives for speed adjustability, and integral hour count functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional attributes include a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor and brake for reduced heat, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly as they meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
