The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and come equipped with a motorized trolley, ensuring high quality and low headroom for both routine and severe working environments. Key features of the hoist include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that logs the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the hoists feature a 5 pocket load sheave designed to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler operation for both the motor and brake, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley includes a highly durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers to facilitate smoother trolley motion and decrease beam wear. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
