The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are equipped with an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, which employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, as well as grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The variable frequency drive facilitates speed adjustability and integral count hour functionality, allowing for the recording and display of the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the hoists feature a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor to promote cooler operation of the motor and brake, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
