The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, delivering high-quality, low headroom, fully-equipped hoists designed for dependable performance in both routine tasks and challenging environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that tracks and displays lowering starts and hoist operation time. The design incorporates a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, a cooler motor and brake facilitated by a fan-cooled motor, and low-profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, manufactured in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist includes a test certificate confirming that it has undergone factory load testing at 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
