The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, delivering high quality, low headroom, and full-featured functionality for reliable performance in both everyday and demanding environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that tracks and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operating time. The design incorporates a five-pocket load sheave that minimizes vibration and prolongs chain life, a fan-cooled motor that aids in cooler operation for both the motor and brake, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
