The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine applications and harsh working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is powered, along with a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain and a count hour meter that tracks and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operational time. The hoists also feature a 5-pocket load sheave designed to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake enabled by a fan-cooled motor, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS standards, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist includes a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
