The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with integral hour counting functionality. The hoists are equipped with a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor, as well as low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly while meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
