The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates advanced technology and a motorized trolley, delivering high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys for reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features of the hoist include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays lowering starts and hoist on time. The design also includes a 5 pocket load sheave for reduced vibration and extended chain life, a fan-cooled motor for cooler operation of the motor and brake, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, compliant with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features a robust pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother trolley motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
