The Nerm Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a motorized trolley equipped with an under the cover variable frequency drive hoist that enables exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that offers speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor, and low profile upper and lower limit switches. The plug-in pendant and power supply cords enhance usability. Hoist and trolley are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly as they meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley incorporates a durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers to ensure smoother trolley motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
