The Nerm Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a motorized trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, Grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a variable frequency drive for speed adjustability, and integral hour count functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to a fan cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoist and trolley are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for enhanced trolley motion and reduced beam wear. All hoists come with a test certificate verifying that they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
