The NER Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. These hoists include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized. Additional specifications consist of a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a variable frequency drive for speed adjustability, and an integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and enhance chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, as well as low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, constructed to be environmentally friendly and compliant with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
