The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporate the latest technology with a motorized trolley, delivering high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys suitable for both routine and severe working environments. The hoist features include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, which consists of a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized; a Grade 80 nickel plated load chain; a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time; a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life; a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler motor and brake temperatures; low profile upper and lower limit switches; and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley is equipped with an exceptionally durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother motion and decreased beam wear. Additionally, all hoists come with a test certificate verifying that they have been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
