The NERP Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley equipped with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing excellent load control and field-adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key attributes include "The Guardian" Smart Brake Technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability and integral hour counting functionality, which records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operational time. Additional features include a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake achieved through a fan-cooled motor, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, meet RoHS environmental requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
