The NERP Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, offering exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that provides speed adjustability along with integral hour counting functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The hoists also include a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake facilitated by the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly and compliant with RoHS requirements, and they exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
