The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized. The hoists are equipped with grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with integral hour count functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, they include a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake thanks to the fan cooled motor, and low profile upper and lower limit switches with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
