The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington includes a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features comprise "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that enables speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan cooled motor for cooler operation, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
