The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, and fully-featured hoists designed for reliable performance in both routine tasks and demanding work environments. Key features include "The Guardian," which is smart brake technology utilizing a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized. The hoists are equipped with grade 80 nickel-plated load chains, a count hour meter that tracks and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a five-pocket load sheave that minimizes vibration and enhances chain longevity. The fan-cooled motor contributes to a cooler operating temperature, while low-profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords enhance usability. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, constructed in an environmentally friendly manner to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate, confirming it has undergone factory load testing to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
