The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology to deliver high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that ensure reliable performance in both routine and demanding work environments. The kit includes features such as "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which is a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized. Additionally, it incorporates a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a 5-pocket load sheave that helps reduce vibration and extend chain life. The motor and brake operate cooler due to a fan-cooled design, while low-profile upper and lower limit switches along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords enhance usability. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly by meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist includes a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
