Fan forced cabinet unit heaters are designed for commercial and institutional applications such as stores, schools, offices, and churches. They can be wall or ceiling mounted on semi-recessed or fully recessed surfaces, and can be rotated during installation to achieve either up flow or down flow configurations. The grill section is field reversible to modify the intake or output air direction. These electric heaters are constructed with 18 gauge steel housing featuring a beige powder coat finish. They are powered by 2-speed shaded pole, permanently lubricated fan motors, ensuring durability. The cabinet unit heaters come equipped with a built-in thermostat that operates within a temperature range of 50-90°F, with independent control over heat output and fan speeds. The thermostat can be bypassed for use with a remote wall thermostat. The unit also includes steel sheath finned tubular elements, a 24V transformer and relay, a disconnect switch, a fan delay switch, and a replaceable dust filter. Maintenance is simplified with removable fan and element decks. Safety features include a full-length capillary automatic reset thermal protection system with a secondary manual reset to prevent overheating. The cabinet dimensions are 9-1/2"D x 25"H, and the unit is UL listed and CSA approved, backed by a 1 year limited warranty.
