The horizontal or vertical discharge fan forced suspended unit heaters feature a 5,000/3,700 watt heating capacity and operate at 240/208V, making them suitable for either vertical or horizontal discharge applications. Constructed with an 18 gauge steel cabinet housing and a long-lasting powder coat finish, these heaters incorporate a spiral fin steel element with continuously brazed steel fins that enable side draw through airflow. Each unit is equipped with individually adjustable louvers for directional control of air flow, allowing adjustments of up to 15° from the straight horizontal position. Safety features include an automatic reset limit that de-energizes the heaters in the event of overheating and a fan over-ride function that purges residual heat at shutdown. The control compartment housing provides a hinged and latched access door for easy wiring installation and maintenance. Additionally, these suspended unit heaters come with a totally enclosed 1-speed permanently lubricated thermally protected motor with unit bearings. The product is UL approved and includes a 1 year limited warranty.
