The Horizontal or Vertical Discharge Fan Forced Suspended Unit Heater is a 5,000-watt heater operating at 480V, designed for flexibility in installation with options for either vertical or horizontal discharge applications. Constructed with an 18-gauge steel cabinet housing and a durable powder coat finish, this heater features a spiral fin steel element with continuously brazed steel fins, allowing for effective side draw through airflow. It includes individually adjustable louvers for directional air flow control, which can pivot up to 15° from a straight horizontal position. Safety is ensured with an automatic reset limit that de-energizes the heater in case of overheating and a fan override to eliminate residual heat at shutdown. The control compartment is equipped with a hinged and latched access door for convenient wiring access during installation and maintenance. Additionally, the unit comes with a totally enclosed 1-speed, permanently lubricated, thermally protected motor featuring unit bearings. This product is UL approved and includes a 1-year limited warranty.
